The conference is only 3 months away!
We are only a three months away from hosting what will be the largest Global Meeting on Law & Society to date and first-ever hybrid conference, featuring over 4,500 attendees from 95 countries and totaling nearly 850 sessions!
We will be announcing this year’s program towards the end of this month, and for those who are making the trip to Lisbon, we will continue to monitor the COVID-19 measures implemented in Portugal. Since the Global Meeting classifies as a professional business meeting, Portugal considers it essential travel. Also, we have had confirmation from the Portuguese Foreign Ministry that all consulates have been informed about the conference and are providing visa letters as requested.
Ahead of the meeting, we advise all participants attending in-person to review both the travel procedures in Portugal, as well as the COVID-19 Contingency Plan and Information initiated by our host institution, ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon. Some of these measures include wearing a mask indoors, promoting social distancing, enhanced cleaning and sanitation processes, increased ventilation, and providing an isolation area.
Attendees are required to follow the rules and guidance of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) and the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES) that are in place. For more information, please visit this website.
