“Discussions about colonialism, slavery and systemic racism are very recent in the portuguese panorama. Concepts such as reparation, restitution, and recognition are still very distant and blurred points on the horizon. Therefore, I chose to use the conference theme “Rage, Reckoning and Remedy” as the main message of the visual identity, which thus appears as a statement.
