The Law and Society Association publishes the Law & Society Review (LSR) in four issues per volume each year. Founded in 1966, LSR is recognized by sociolegal scholars worldwide as a leading journal in the field. LSR is a peer-reviewed publication for work that explores the relationship between society and the legal process. We publish a wide range of pieces, including articles, theoretical developments, results of empirical studies, reviews and comments on the field or its methods of inquiry, and general notes of interest for the research community.
Broadly interdisciplinary, the LSR welcomes work from any tradition of scholarship concerned with the cultural, economic, political, psychological, or social aspects of law and legal systems.
