Meet the Artist: Caitlin Mattisson

Caitlin Mattisson is an illustrator, artist and CCA(C) alum who was born in San Francisco and currently lives in the Oakland Hills with her Malinois Ace and little Husky Freya. Growing up in the Bay Area, she was surrounded by 1960’s rock and roll poster culture, taking inspiration from the hand-drawn/painted techniques of the artists of that period.  Caitlin also draws inspiration from Tarot, sci-fi novels, horror & cult movies, comic books, ancient cultures/folklore, and phantasmagoric music. She primarily works on rock n’ roll posters for musicians, as well as illustrations for select motorcycle, makeup and fashion companies.
