The Law and Society Association has long emphasized the value of diversity and endeavored to increase that of its membership and activities. Inaugurated last year as the CHANGE (Coalition for a Multiracial/Multicultural LSA), the LSA Diversity Committee is again sponsoring a breakfast to support the Association's goal to increase the racial and ethnic diversity of its membership. The Diversity/CHANGE Breakfast is intended to foster a variety of goals including: providing a forum for scholars of color (if they define themselves that way) to meet and network with each other and offering an opportunity for scholars of all racial and ethnic backgrounds new the organization to meet those who have been members for several years.
