Volunteer as a Chair or Discussant for a Program Committee Organized Session


The LSA Program Committee is responsible for creating sessions of the accepted unassigned papers. Volunteers for Chair and Discussant roles are able to select which keywords (subject matter) they would like the session to be. If you are interested in volunteering to be a chair or discussant, please follow the instructions below:

Accessing the System

If you participated in the 2014 Annual Meeting, your profile is saved in the submission system –please do not create a new profile. Go to ww2.aievolution.com/lsa1501 and enter your username and password. If you forget your password, please use the "forgot password" function on the submission system home page.

When entering the system the first time for the 2015 Annual Meeting, your need to do the following:

Step 1: Update your password
Step 2: Volunteer Request – Please enter which roles you are willing to be assigned to – Session Chair and/or Discussant.
Step 3: Select your keyword areas. Feel free to select as many keywords as appropriate. The Program Committee members will contact you to verify whether you’re interested in the session they’re coordinating prior to being assigned to a session. Click “submit”.
Step 4: Thank you for volunteering! A Program Committee member will contact you by email regarding any available chair or discussant roles. These assignments are made November through January.

If you did not participate in 2014, you will need to create a profile in the system. Go to ww2.aievolution.com/lsa1501. This is also the link used to submit a proposal. Once you have created your profile, you will receive an email with your temporary password.

If you forget your password, please use the "Forgot your Password?" system in the login page. You may edit your profile at any time by first logging in, then select "My Account", then "Edit Contact Information". We do not require the “Bio section” of the profile to be completed; though we welcome you to provide the information. Your bio information is connected to all your roles/participation in the Annual Meeting, and maybe be viewed in the online program.
